Who We are

About Us

Since their young age, trustees of Avval Foundation, Mr. Abhisar Kalal was very much active in social service. Along with their routine life, they use to spare time to visit various social service centers, which provides support to differently-abled children, ignored women and Old age homes. It was then they came across the issue that elderly with partial disability (mental & physical) were not getting admission into any of the city-based Old age homes and they had to suffer. Therefore, with this specific purpose of providing shelter and support to partially disabled (mental & physical) elderly, Avval Foundation was formed and was registered as a NGO in May 2013.

In May 2018, Avval Foundation has completed its 5 years and has provided shelter and support to more than 200 Ignored Elderly so far. Currently, we operate in Rented premises located in Ghatlodia area with a capacity to accommodate 35 people. We have waiting list of more than 20 Elderly who seek admission but due to space constraint, we are unable to admit them. We are approaching the Government, Fundraising agencies, Corporates & People for getting support to get our own space and Build an Old age Home, which can accommodate more than 100 people and can have more facilities to ease the life of elderly ones. Your support for this cause can make difference in many lives.

Avval Foundation was the First in Ahmedabad City to install a Water ATM, which serves 1- liter clean and cool drinking water in 1 rupee. We have 4 such ATMs installed so far and exploring the possibilities for network expansion and reach to as many as rural areas. We also provide free education to more than 200 children through audiovisual mode, we currently are in need of Teaching Volunteers who can support us in this cause and serve better.

You can Support society by joining hands with Avval Foundation either by Donating OR Participating as a Volunteer in Good cause. Thank You.
